The much anticipated Mayweather - Mosley fight turned out just as the experts had predicted, it is now time to look ahead towards a Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao showdown that bettors and bookmakers alike hope takes place before year's end.

Mayweather was now a -150 favorite against Pacquiao in a fight that is yet to be scheduled at Sportsbook.com.  Pacquiao would pay out $120 for every $100 bet if he were to win.  To date, The Filipino superstar has gotten extensive action from sports bettors optimistic this bout will take place.

"The Manny Pacquiao defeat of Mayweather is routinely among the top 5 bets in terms of total action being placed at Sportsbook.com at the end of each game day," points out Carrie Stroup, Senior Reporter for the Gambling911.com website who is also the face of Sportsbook.com and its sister online casino PlayersOnly.com.

Fighting more aggressively than usual, Mayweather overcame a near knockdown in the second round Saturday night to dominate the rest of the way and win a lopsided 12-round decision over Shane Mosley in their welterweight showdown.

"I wanted to give the fans what they wanted to see, a toe-to-toe battle," Mayweather said. "It wasn't the same style for me but I wanted to be aggressive and I knew I could do it."

The Mayweather - Mosley fight ended what was likely to be a record day in terms of overall traffic to the Gambling911.com website.  Much of the day's focus was on the Kentucky Derby.
