NBA All-Star Game betting is available at SBG Global until tip off at 8:05 pm Eastern.  You will be able to watch on TNT.

The best players in the NBA get to showcase their skills on Sunday as the Eastern Conference faces the Western Conference in the 58th annual NBA betting  All-Star game.  TNT will televise the game at 8 pm Eastern Time on Sunday from Phoenix, Arizona.

The All-Star game is always a high scoring affair as neither team plays much defense.  The East won last year's game 134-128 and that was pretty tame compared to the 2007 game in which the West won 153-132.  The East has top scorers LeBron James and Dwyane Wade while the West has Kobe Bryant.

The East definitely has the defensive edge if anyone decides to play defense.  Orlando's Dwight Howard leads the NBA in rebounds, blocked shots and double-doubles. He was also the first player in NBA history to get over 3 million votes from the fans in All-Star voting.  He shattered the record set by Yao Ming four years ago. "Wow, what a blessing," said Howard, "That is what I took it as, a blessing from God and then the fans. It's just a great honor and I was surprised, but like always I thank the fans for everything they have done for us."

Howard is joined in the Eastern Conference starting lineup by James, Wade, Allen Iverson and Kevin Garnett.  James won the MVP for the East in last year's game. "The All-Star game is always so meaningful to me because of the fans," said James.  The Eastern Conference reserves are Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, Danny Granger, Devin Harris, Rashard Lewis, Mo Williams and Ray Allen.  Williams and Allen were replacements for Chris Bosh and Jameer Nelson who are injured and will miss the game.

Kobe led all of the vote getters on the NBA betting Western Conference squad and he is joined in the starting lineup by Chris Paul, Yao, Tim Duncan and Amare Stoudemire.  The Western Conference reserves are Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, Chauncey Billups, Tony Parker, Brandon Roy, Shaquille O'Neal and David West. The one glaring omission on the West squad was Denver's Carmelo Anthony who has better stats than a number of other players.

The East leads the West in the all-time series 35-22 although the teams have split the last 10 meetings.
