SBG Global Opening Line on Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Lakers: Lakers - 8.5 - Total 195.5

The NBA season opens on Tuesday night with an intriguing matchup in Los Angeles between the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers. The Lakers were the runner-ups to the Boston Celtics last season and have MVP Kobe Bryant while the Blazers have a lot of young talent including center Greg Oden. That should make for a great late night game on TNT. SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Lakers at Home.

The Lakers are hoping that the return of Andrew Bynum will take them to the NBA title this season. Bynum will get a good test on Tuesday as he takes on former #1 pick Greg Oden who will be making his NBA debut after sitting out last season due to injury. "I'm excited," Oden said, "I'm ready to get back and doing what I'm used to doing. There's really nothing else I can say about that. It's just a lot of excitement built up." Oden averaged 11.5 points and 7.8 rebounds in six preseason games.

One reason the Lakers believe they will contend for the title is Bynum. He was averaging 13.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game before getting hurt last season. "I feel fine, the knee is fine," he said, "I'm definitely 100 percent."

Portland and Los Angeles split their four meetings last season with each team winning at home. Here are the NBA betting stats for Tuesday's game. The Trail Blazers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Trail Blazers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games. The Trail Blazers are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Los Angeles. The underdog is 22-4 ATS in the last 26 meetings between the two teams.

SBG Global Current Line: Lakers - 7.5 , Total 195.5

The Lakers are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 vs. the Northwest. The Lakers are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 Tuesday games. The Lakers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games.

The Under is 5-1 in the Trail Blazers last 6 vs. the Pacific. The Under is 17-5-1 in the Trail Blazers last 23 road games. The Under is 5-1 in the Lakers last 6 home games. The Over is 4-1 in the Lakers last 5 vs. the Northwest. The Under is 8-3 in the Lakers last 11 overall. The Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings in Los Angeles between the two teams.
