Optimizer, Pretension and Cozzetti all had odds of 30/1 to win the 2012 Preakness at BetOnline.
Optimizer is the only horse of these three that ran the Derby. He was bred for turf and it showed two weeks ago at Churchill Downs where he finished 11th.
Pretension won his last race, the Cananero II, but finished 9th at the Grade 3 Illinois Derby and 5th at the Gotham, both Grade 3 races.
Cozzetti comes into the 2012 Preakness Stakes having not finished worse than 4th in his last 3 races. He finished 4th at the Arkansas Derby and 3rd at the Tampa Derby, both Grade 3 races.
