A lot of speculation previously swirled about the details of Tiger's car crash on Thanksgiving night.  He clarified that Elin did not hurt Tiger on Thanksgiving nite. He stated that she did not hit him and there has never been an incident of domestic violence ever. He also praised his wife, "She has shown enormous grace and poise. Deserves praise not blame."

Tiger continued to acknowledge his repeated 'irresponsible behavior.' He admitted he had affairs and cheated, and that he was the only person to blame. He knew his actions were wrong, but normal rules did not apply. He felt he worked hard his entire life and he felt he was entitled, due to money and fame, that he deserved these tempations.

He did not specifically mention 'sex addiction' at any time during his apology speech.

Tiger also stated that he did not use performance enhancing drugs, in an effort to refute reports from his past flings who stated his took Ambien and other prescription drugs in crazed sex episodes.

In the 14 minute speech, Tiger also got spiritual.  Tiger said he was an active Buddist as a child, and drifted away from it. He wants to embrace Buddism again, as he continues to receive professional help as well.

Starting tomorrow, Tiger will leave for more treatment and more therapy.  He does plan to return to golf someday, but did not say when specifically. He was not sure if it would be this year.

He thanked the PGA tour and the players for their patience and understanding. He said he looked forward to seeing his fellow players on the course.

Tiger Woods asked for his friend's help to one day believe in him again someday.

He sniffled at the end as he embraced his mother and friends. Elin was not in attendance.
