What Are The Odds: This Year’s Players Championship Payouts

The payouts for this year’s Players Championship golf tournament will be extraordinary, starting at 7-1 or US$70 for every US$10 bet on the favorite Dustin Johnson for 2017.

Payout potentials continue at $100 and beyond, though the vast majority of golfers will pay $1000 and up for every $10 bet.

Betting on Golf

There are two main things to consider when betting on golf. You can bet on an individual golfer to win a tournament or you can bet on the matchups.  The matchups are simply money line wagers where you are betting on one golfer to finish better than another golfer. Both options are available each week at the sportsbook. In past years the PGA Tour was dominated by top names like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson and while those two still get a lot of attention, there are a lot of young players who are now leading the way in golf including Rory McIlory, Jordan Spieth and Matt Kuchar. Be sure to check out the golf odds and our PGA Picks every week at the sportsbook.
