‘The Gambler’ Trailer Released: Mark Wahlberg Film Due Out December 19

A trailer for the upcoming Mark Wahlberg film “The Gambler” surfaced across the Web on Wednesday with the film set to open in select theatres December 19.

Wahlberg reprises the role of literature professor, Jim Bennett, whose gambling problems run him afoul of gangsters in the 1974 movie of the same name.

The film is directed by Rupert Wyatt, with a screenplay by Academy Award® winner William Monahan, and produced by Academy Award® nominee Mark Wahlberg,  It also stars Jessica Lange.
