Bilzerian Lashes Out at Those Who Called Him ‘Coward’ at Mass Shooting
- Poker pro and Instagram Playboy filmed himself running from the scene claiming he witnessed woman’s brains spilling from her head
- Bilzerian accused of being a coward for running
- Marines chime in to bash Bilzerian
- Proof emerges that Bilzerian stuck around to assist first responders
Dan Bilzerian has come out swinging against those who called the poker player out for posting a mobile video of himself fleeing the scene of Sunday night’s Vegas mass shooting. The incident became the worst mass shooting in modern day US history with 59 dead and over 500 injured.
The self-filmed Instagram video shows Bilzerian running from the scene while describing how a woman beside him had “her brains shot out”. He also claims to be running home to retrieve his own weapon.
Upon returning to the scene, police already had the situation under control with the gunman pronounced dead.
“Um, they got one of the guys,” he says, no gun in sight, all fury gone from his voice. “I’m headed back. I don’t think there’s much I can do.”

Folks were quick to criticize Bilzerian, who rose to fame via social media depictions where he is often pictured carrying machine guns and bragging about his deadly prowess.
“this guy is full of shit,” one YouTube viewer commented.
Another wrote: “don't believe this narcisstic bilzerian...he's probably got paid to act like he saw someone get shot. and of course, only footage he provides is of his face talking. fuck this guy.”
But the dagger came when known military veterans spoke out to lambaste Bilzerian, who himself once went through Navy Seal training.
“This is why children shouldn’t classify heroes by their followers or their photos,” wrote Dakota Meyer, a Marine veteran who received the Medal of Honor. “… Always playing ‘operator dress up’ and so so tough when the cameras are on. A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming. … Please stop trying to be someone your [sic] not.”
Proof that Bilzerian actually stuck around to assist was caught on video (photo captured below) by a local television station, however. The social media icon is seen assisting first responders helping a victim onto a gurney.
He tweeted out to Meyer and another marine who was critical:
Look another video of me not doing shit you 2 fucking morons should stick to shit you know about, like jerking each other off and vlogging.
