Wayne Rooney Returns to Everton: Odds Still Long to Win Premiership 2018

After leaving his boyhood club in 2004, Wayne Rooney has rejoined Everton for an undisclosed fee from Manchester United. He's signed a two-year contract. 

“I’m ecstatic.  I can’t wait to get back playing,” Rooney said over the weekend.

Despite all the hoopla surrounding Rooney rejoining Everton, that club’s odds of winning the English Premiership title remained long at 80-1.
