In his pro boxing debut, Francis Ngannou knocked down and took world champion Tyson Fury the distance, only to lose in a controversial split decision.

Despite the loss, Ngannou silenced critics and proved that he belongs in the same ring as some of the world's best boxers.

So....who’s next?

SportsBetting.ag set odds for Ngannou's next opponent, pegging Deontay Wilder as the favorite. A rematch with Tyson Fury has the second-best odds, while former title holder Anthony Joshua rounds out the Top 3 of the eight fighters listed.

Ngannou parted ways with UFC after he defeated Ciryl Gane last year to retain his heavyweight championship. Deontay Wilder comes in as his next opponent and is favored at 2-1.  A repeat bout with Tyson Fury is favored but he only has second shortest odds to be his next opponent. Fury is favored to win again at 1-4.

Additionally, there are Fury vs. Ngannou II odds already out. After going off as nearly a 10-1 underdog yesterday, the oddsmakers have made Ngannou much less of a 'dog for the rematch.

Fight Odds

Francis Ngannou           3-1

Tyson Fury                    1-4

Fury will take on Oleksandr Usyk next... maybe.  Both have signed on and slated to fight Dec. 23 in Riyadh.  Fury was cut over his left eye and forehead and suffered damage against Ngannou, which could result in a delay.

"It will be our next fight guaranteed," Fury assured in regard to taking on Usyk.
