The New York Mets and the New York Yankees open a three-game set at Yankee Stadium on Friday (7:05 pm ET, SNY).

The Yankees are -210 moneyline favorites and the over/under total is 9.5 in MLB Odds at betED.com.

Lefty Hisanori Takahashi, who sports a 2-1 record with a 3.81 ERA, gets the start for the Mets. He will face righthander Javier Vazquez, who is 5-5 with a 5.46 ERA.

The Mets and Yankees have met once already this season, with the Mets taking the three-game set 2-1 May 21 to 23 at Citi Field.

The first game featured the same pitching duel as we'll see Friday, as Vazquez got the win in a 2-1 victory against Takahashi. The Mets came back with a 5-3 win in the second tilt.

The rubber match had Johan Santana pitching into the eighth inning to pace the Mets to a 6-4 win. Jason Bay hit two home runs off CC Sabathia, while Derek Jeter went 3-for-5.

Other interleague series this weekend include the two Los Angeles-based teams on the road in Chicago and Boston.

The Angels will take on the Cubs, with lefty Scott Kazmir getting the start for the Angels against righthander Carlos Silva for the Cubs.

And the Dodgers face the Red Sox at Fenway, with righthander Carlos Monasterious on the mound for L.A. and southpaw Felix Doubront for the Red Sox.
