Biden Bounce With Harris Rollout? Not Yet
Former Vice President and Democratic nominee for US President Joe Biden saw his odds tank early with news that he had selected California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate. To be clear, he was still a somewhat comfortable -135 favorite to become the next President, but so too was Hillary Clinton around this time back in 2016. Current US President Donald Trump would pay slightly better than even odds with a win.

Biden was at -160 odds prior to announcing Harris. BetOnline observed a significant number of bets come in on Trump immediately following the news of Biden's pick.
On Wednesday, the Biden and Harris pushed past their one-time political rivalry and delivered a stinging rebuke of the current man in the Oval Office.
“The case against Donald Trump and Mike Pence is open and shut,” Harris said. “This virus has impacted almost every country. But there’s a reason it has hit America worse than any other advanced nation. It’s because of Trump’s failure to take it seriously from the start.”
She added: “This is what happens when we elect a guy who just isn’t up for the job.”
By Thursday morning, the odds remained at -135.
Trump offered this about Harris Wednesday: “She said horrible things about him. She mocked him, openly mocked him. That’s why I thought that was a very risky pick. Because I’m sure that will be played back.”
BetOnline also offers odds on which candidate will win in each state.
