Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker confirmed to NBC that he dated the woman who last week revealed to the Daily Beast the former Georgia Bulldogs star paid for her abortion.  The GOP candidate initially denied knowing who the woman was.  That woman has since claimed he enocuraged her to get a second abortion but she refused.  The child is now ten years old and Walker is believed to have little contact with him.

While Walker also denied sending money for the abortion, he admitted to maybe sending her money at another time.

"I don't remember any card or check or anything. But I was dating her. I could have sent some money. I could have sent a card," Walker told NBC.

The Georgia Democrat running to maintain his Senate seat, Raphael Warnock, was now coming in as the -225 favorite to win the Midterm election.  The odds were still equivalent to a competitive boxing match with Walker promising a payout of $16 for every $10 bet should he win.

On May 25, Walker had -250 odds to be named the Peach State's next senator on the political gaming website BetOnline.ag, implying a 71.4% probability that he would defeat Rafael Warnock.

The New York Times on Friday corroborated previous reports by the Daily Beast via custody reports and an interview given by a friend of Walker's accuser.

The woman provided both The New York Times and The Daily Beast a copy of a $575 receipt from an Atlanta abortion clinic as well as a copy of a $700 check that she said was a reimbursement check from Walker.

"She has been angry at me for years and it is very difficult," Walker revealed to NBC on Sunday. "She's a big, big advocate for abortion rights; she's said that."

Walker’s oldest son, social media influencer and a staunch supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, Christian Walker, lambasted his father in a now viral video.
