Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg has seen his price go from 20-1 to 9-1 to 8-1 in his quest to obtain the Democratic nominee for US President.  BetOnline still held Bloomberg's odds at 9-1.  A self-made billionaire, Bloomberg ads ($30 million worth) have been running in heavy rotation throughout the past week.

Bloomberg got a boost Tuesday by none other than Fox Business host Stu Varney.

"I think this is a split party, I think Bloomberg is the nominee," Varney said Tuesday about the Democrats before offering this bold prediction:  "and I think Trump wins big time in November."

Trump was still the favorite to remain President in 2020 despite the unimpressive price tag (+125 at BetOnline for a payout potential of $12 on every $10 bet)

Bloomberg jumped into the Democratic race late.  Already he's fifth among the Democratic hopefuls though at just 5% along side Kamala Harris, who announced Tuesday she would be suspending her campaign.

“We cannot afford four more years of President Trump’s reckless and unethical actions,” he continued. “He represents an existential threat to our country and our values. If he wins another term in office, we may never recover from the damage.”

During his 12 years as mayor, the crime rate, homicide rate and incarceration rate in New York City all went down, Bloomberg said, and he wants to do the same for the rest of America.
