Marcin Gortat pretty much came through for us last night against Philadelphia though we expected him to perform around 6X his value as opposed to barely 5X.
Detroit does provide another easy matchup for the Washington center, having allowed the 4th most fantasy points to that position.
Much of Gortat’s fantasy points Friday night came from rebounds (he had 14 of those).
The last time facing the Pistons, Gortat managed to score around 40 fantasy points. Nuff said.
Washington’s center has seen at least 27 minutes in each of his last five starts.
Kris Humphries was listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game against Detroit, thus ensuring Gortat will continue to get an adequate number of minutes.
The Pistons were listed as a -4 home court favorite for this one.
