Despite a very solid showing by Tony Romo and the gang last weekend in Tampa Bay, the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl odds actually took a dip from +1200/+1400 to +1600 (16/1) at Sports Interaction.  The payout would be $1600 for every $100 bet should they win the Championship game.

Their upcoming Week 2 matchup with the New York Giants should give some clue as to how the Cowboys will perform in 2009 overall.

In their last meeting, The Cowboys registered eight sacks of Eli Manning and dominated in a 20-8 victory over the Giants in Week 15 of last season. Dallas has won four of the past five regular-season matchups.

The Bucs hung tough for a while, but could not keep up with the explosive Cowboys in a 34-21 loss.

Tony Romo threw for a career-high 353 yards and three touchdowns to help Dallas improve to 3-0 in season openers under Wade Phillips.

The 80-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Crayton was the longest of Romo's career. Crayton finished with four catches for 135 yards and a touchdown. It was his third career 100-yard receiving game.

Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys figure they'll be fine without Terrell Owens.

Surrounded by a talented supporting cast that includes Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin and Jason Witten -- not to mention Marion Barber and Felix Jones -- it's easy to understand why.

Gambling911.com considers the Dallas Cowboys an excellent value at +1600 odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl.

Dallas would pay $700 to win the NFC Championship.  The best value of all perhaps is a potential payout of $250 for every $100 bet if Dallas were to win the NFC East where both New York and Philadelphia are currently favored.
