The Panthers-Saints point spread had New Orleans as an unworthy -10 home favorite, keeping in mind they just dropped three straight games at home.  Previously, they had been viewed as a poor road team but turned that around with a three-point win in Pittsburgh last week.

It’s amazing to think that at 5-7 New Orleans can still win this NFC South.  Carolina may be 3-8-1 Straight Up but they have paid out to gamblers in six of those games.  The Panthers are 3-2 in this series over the last five meetings though the home team is 4-2 over the last six.

This game has significant meaning for Fantasy folks as Carolina’s Jonathan Stewart comes cheap at between $3800 and $5200 and most fantasy pundits believe he will excel this week against New Orleans.

DeAngelo Williams is out for Carolina while the Saints defense been rendered ineffective against the run of late.  Nuff said…especially at that price.
