With Super Bowl 44 between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints days away, the Colts are a 4.5-point chalk and the Total is set at 56.5.

Here are some game-related Super Bowl 44 betting trends to consider courtesy of Sportsbetting.com (open an online betting account here):

-Dating back to 1986, the Saints are 5-2 straight up in seven meetings against the Colts,

-In New Orleans' last nine games overall, it is 6-3 SU and 3-6 against the spread with six Unders at the same time,

-Indy is 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in its last 10 games with seven Overs as well,

-The Colts are riding five-game SU and ATS win streaks on grass and in their last 10 on that surface, are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS,

-The Saints aren't bad on grass either, with records of 6-3 SU and 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine on the natural stuff,

-This season's AFC champs are 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS when favored by 6-points or less and

-The NFC champs for the 2009 season are only 2-8 SU and 4-5-1 ATS in their last 10 when ‘dogged by 6 or less with seven Overs.
