The man who took Atlantic City casinos for $11 million in blackjack wins called it “an incredible streak of good luck.

Don Johnson, 49, beat the Tropicana out of $6 million, the Borgota out of $5 million and Caesar’s out of $4 million, all within a six month period.

"I'll take luck over any other skill," Johnson told the Atlantic City Press. "There's no magic to this. Eventually, someone would whack them. I'm just glad it was me."

Johnson’s identity was previously unknown until this interview.  He admitted to some losses along the way, but would not disclose the exact amount.

"I don't wear Kevlar," he said. "I'm not bulletproof. I do have some losses in between."

At the Trop, Johnson disclosed, he was able to bet up to $100,000 per hand.

“That's the highest I've ever heard of," he said.

Johnson added:  "They beat most people in the long run because the average person won't have the bankroll.  But I have my own bankroll. If you can take the swings, you're going to win. You also have to understand the math."

Now that The Masters is over we're dealing with what is by most accounts a rather slow uneventful Monday.  This, however, is the silence before the storm as the NFL Draft, NBA and NHL Playoffs, the Kentucky Derby and the Canelo Alvarez vs William Scull fight are just around the corner.
