Former NFL player Reche Caldwell could face up to 20 years in prison for running an illegal gambling business. But that’s not all he’s in trouble for.

Caldwell, 35, was also charged in a scheme to distribute the drug “Molly”.

Third time is a charm when in August the 2nd round Draft pick for the San Diego Chargers in 2002 was charged with possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.

He pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession and intent to distribute illegal drugs, admitting to signing for a parcel from China containing 1.5 kilograms “Molly” and a week later, federal investigators intercepted the package.

In March, the one time Gators standout was among eight individuals charged with running the illegal gambling enterprise.  The Tampa-based business was raided.

During that raid officers seized cash, two handguns, and a gram of the drug ecstasy.
