In response to the desperate situation in Ferguson, MO in the wake of the shooting death of Michael Brown, the St. Louis Rams (priced at +300 to make the NFC playoffs at WagerHome.com) went ahead and donated 75 free tickets to football players at each of three different high schools in the city for the game they had this past Saturday against the Green Bay Packers. Philadelphia Bookies, Eastern Pennsylvania and Penn State: Scranton, Allentown

Okay so we know there is a whole swath of land between Eastern Pennsylvania and Western Pennsylvania, between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and, yes, there are bookies residing in the central portion of PA.  But alas Gambling911.com has elected to focus on the Philadelphia bookies and, more recently, the Pittsburgh bookies.

Pittsburgh Area Bookies: Western PA

Pittsburgh area bookies cater to a hardcore sports betting crowd that have pledged their allegiance, not only to the Steelers, but to the Penguins NHL team and, to a lesser extent perhaps, the Pirates MLB team.  Pittsburgh colleges have enjoyed success in Men’s Basketball and to some degree Football.

PPH Sports Betting -- Ryder Cup and Rookie QB's Making News

Right now Keegan Bradley, a former PGA champion, is -1500 at WagerHome to be one of Tom Watson's captain's picks for the Ryder Cup. Jason Dufner, who is priced at +120, made a gallant effort to defend his PGA Championship but withdrew after nine holes on Thursday with a recurrence of his neck problems. We can't imagine him offering value at that price, since he may actually miss the rest of the season.

Cincinnati Bookies: It’s All About The Bengals, Bearcats, Reds and Pete Rose

Local bookies thrive in Cincinnati, Ohio, and with good reason.  Bengals fans tend to be hardcore bettors.  But bookies also take their fair amount of action on the Reds and University of Cincinnati Bearcats as well.

Finding a local bookie is easy as pie in Cincinatti with its abundance of sports bars and pool halls.  These include the likes of Local’s Sports Bar & Grill, Knockback Nats, Rhinehaus, Tap House Grill, Rock Bottom and the Brass Tap, just to name a few.

Popular pool halls include House of Billiards, Western Bowl and Princeton Bowl.

Cleveland Area Bookies Hope to Capitalize Off of Lebron, Johnny Manziel

With Lebron James back in town, Cleveland area bookies have been making some serious coin on the new demand for Cleveland Cavalier bets.

Cleveland has always been a hardcore sports town with the Browns and Indians but the Cavs simply haven’t attracted the type of interest that comes with having a bona fide star the likes of Lebron.

Chicago area bookies can be found throughout the city and suburban areas.  Sports bars and pool halls are especially popular with Chicago, Illinois bookies.

Chicago is a big sports town with home teams that include the NFL Bears, two Major League Baseball teams – the Cubs and White Sox, the NBA Bulls and a very good NHL team that won the Stanley Cup two years ago and played in the Stanley Cup Final this year but lost.

PPH Football Betting -- Lynch May Force Seahawks to Make an Unpleasant Decision

When there is a major issue with a key player for the defending Super Bowl champions, that is something no PPH football bettor can rightfully ignore. When that issue involves a contract dispute, it gets a little stickier. And when it further involves someone who doesn't want to fulfill his contract, then things have the potential to really get complicated, because there is no reason for the team holding that contract to budge.
