PokerStars Now Referring Its Poker Pros to Morningside Recovery After G911 Story

Following Gambling911.com’s Senior International Correspondent Jenny Woo’s interview with Morningside Recovery’s gambling addiction specialist Dr. Elizabeth Waterman, Psy.D, the world’s largest online poker site, PokerStars, has begun referring their own pros to this prestigious organization.

“We feel it is important to get the word out,” noted Gambling911.com Head Payton O’Brien.  “Gambling911.com prides itself on being a responsible news organization while understanding its reader base consists heavily of gamblers, some of whom will ultimately become degenerates, if they are not already.”

One degenerate is none other than poker great Eric Lindgren, who checked himself into Morningside after reading Woo’s piece.

“I’ve had a gambling problem for a long time and I’ve finally got the opportunity to address it,” said Lindgren during his two-week stay at Morningside Recovery.

“ I could check myself in and after some long thought and checking my ego at the door, I came here,” The multiple World Poker Tour title winner added.

PokerStars added the Morningside link in its “Responsible Gambling” section.
