There is some glimmer of hope on the World Sports Exchange front.  The online sportsbook, one of the first to come online in fact, has begun to send out a series of payouts this past week according to various reports.  World Sports Exchange has taken 6 months or longer to make payouts in some cases.

One poster on the SBR Website writes:

"I received a $2500 check today (thank God) from a 2/3/10 payout request. I still have yet to receive my requests from 2/1/10, 2/2/10 & 3/15/10. Keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, a friend of mine also just received a $3000 check via FedEx.

"All my payout requests were via the regular mail payout option and came via FedEx. They did not email me a tracking number. I received the tracking number from a recorded FedEx message last Friday on my home vmail."

This individual is just one of many who discovered checks arriving from the troubled company.  Thus far the checks appear to be good.

WSEX.com has come under severe fire after years of its co-founder, Jay Cohen, attacking competitors for anything from temporary slow pays to getting in the middle of competing sportsbooks customer disputes.

It's pretty crazy to think that a 58-year-old Mike Tyson will step into the ring against a 27-year-old Jake Paul on Friday night.
