53-year-old Jerry Nann Meador appeared Wednesday in court along with her attorney and a prosecutor to work out a deal.  A Clark County District Court judge will decide if Meador should serve the rest of her sentence under home arrest while getting treatment for her gambling addiction.

Last month, the grandmother was sentenced to a 4-to-10 year prison sentence

A Nevada law passed in 2009 allows judges to sentence nonviolent problem gamblers with a diagnosed disorder to treatment instead of prison.
