Cincinnati Bengals Odds to Win 2013 Super Bowl, Regular Season Wins Total Betting

The Cincinnati Bengals odds to win the 2013 Super Bowl were at 50/1 at BetOnline.

Common sense dictates that being lumped in a division with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens doesn’t allow for much wiggle room to make mistakes during the regular season.  Hence, it’s going to be tough for Cincy or Cleveland to make a run for the Super Bowl.

Still, pundits believe that the Ravens defense will lose some of its luster this year while the Steelers odds to win the division are longer than Baltimore.

The Bengals did show glimpses of brilliance last year, ending the regular season with a 9-7 record.  This was completely unexpected.

There is little to suggest Cincinnati won’t perform just as well, if not better than last season. 

The OVER/UNDER 8.5 2012 regular season games had the OVER paying close to 2/1 odds.

This is more than doable, especially early on in the season with consecutive games beginning in Week 2 at home versus Cleveland, on the road in Washington and Jacksonville, at home against Miami then on away again in Cleveland.  Let’s give them 4 of these 5 winable games.

We have to give them one win at home over either rival Pittsburgh or the visiting Broncos with Peyton Manning.  Likewise, we have to give them a home win over either the visiting Giants or Cowboys. 

They host Oakland with a final game in Cincinnati against Baltimore, which for argument’s sake we will say probably won’t matter much. 

The total comes out to 8 wins but those of us at Gambling911.com aren’t on the Eagles bandwagon like everyone else so it is entirely possible the Bengals will beat Philly on the road towards the regular season’s end. 

A much improved Bengals team can easily go over 10 regular season games however.
