The Warriors have the 2nd best record in the league behind Atlanta but have some pretty good current future value in winning the NBA Championship at 4-1 odds. They’ve actually cooled off a bit of late, winning just 7 of their last 10 games Straight Up and only three Against The Spread. The later is important for fantasy enthusiasts as they have failed to blow out the T-Wolves, 76ers and even the Knicks (winning by 14 but not covering the 15-point line) in their last three games before the break.
Any of the Warriors starters are a good option for starting on one’s roster, especially when we consider that all but one of the current starting four were priced under $8000 coming into the All Star Break. The danger here is the potential for a blowout and the reduction of minutes as a result.

Klay Thompson (SG) $7.9K – 36 fantasy points
Harrison Barnes (SF) $4.3K - 21 fantasy points
Stephen Curry (PG) $10.3K – 41 fantasy points
Draymond Green (PF) $7.3K – 30 fantasy points
Andrew Bogut (C) $4.9K – 25 fantasy points
It’s interesting to note that, while Golden State’s three previous victories against the next five teams they are set to face were all blowouts, four of these games will be on the road and four of the teams are above the .500 mark. A home game against the Spurs followed by four games on the road against Indiana, Washington, Cleveland and Toronto.
None of these teams are particularly woeful versus a specific position. San Antonio, however, does rank 22nd against power forwards, allowing the 10th most fantasy points to this position while Indiana has had its struggles against shooting guards of late.
Klay Thompson – In a perfect world, Thompson would be one of the rare guys to target against Indiana. And since he scored 40 total points the last time he faced the Pacers (along with a few rebounds and assists, a block and a steal), we’d say he’s a definite GO against them.
San Antonio – Neutral/Go
Indiana – Strong Go
Washington – Hold
Cleveland - Hold
Toronto - Hold
Stephen Curry – Again, it’s not so much about the potential for a blowout where we are reserved against going with Warriors players but rather the type of competition they will face off against in the next five games. With Curry we see a trend developing with the Pacers. Like Thompson, Curry also demolished Indiana the last time he played them. Curry’s price is such that he only went a bit over value, but his play was impressive enough to warrant a GO here.
Curry went way over value against Toronto, thus providing a nice play for this upcoming matchup.
