Facebook Live Killer Went Gambling While on the Run

The man accused of shooting an elderly gentleman on a Cleveland street then posting the video on Facebook Live before going on the run for two days apparently spent that time gambling according to casino video surveillance.

Surveillance footage captured Steve Stephens — who put a bullet in his head Tuesday after a three-day manhunt — hitting up a casino just two days before he’d gun down a random retiree on Easter and post the snuff film to Facebook, a new report says.

The 37-year-old was spotted on camera gambling at West Virginia's Mountaineer Casino on Friday in New Cumberland, a spokeswoman for the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Cleveland.com.

Steve Stephens shot himself Tuesday following a brief vehicle pursuit in Erie County, Pennsylvania.

Stephens killed a 74-year-old grandfather and father of ten, Robert Godwin Sr.
