Mafia Hitman Found Buried In Pharaoh-Like Tomb

A Sicilian Mafia hitman’s body has been discovered adorned with all of his valuables, including weapons he used in the act of committing murder, and buried within a Pharaoh-like tomb in the manner of traditional Egyptian burial customs.

Police discovered Agostino Badalamenti lying in his tomb alongside a penknife, pack of cigarettes, a revolver and a knifeLaw enforcement was in search of a revolver in hopes of solving unsolved murders in Sicily.

Badalamenti was charged with the murder of Michele Lipari in 1979.  Inside the courtroom the mobster regularly cried out “I want my mummy!” in an effort to demonstrate he had gone insane.  The shtick did work as badalamenti would ultimately serve 18 months in a mental institution as opposed to a life sentence in a prison.

Badalamenti was welcomed back into the Sicilian Mob following his release from the institution.

Just days ago another mobster's remains were found in his wife's Massachusetts yard following a decades long cold case into the murder of a Pennsylvania police chief.
