Schneiderman Hires Top Defense Attorney

Eric Schneiderman, the disgraced former New York State Attorney General, has hired prominent defense attorney Isabelle Kirshner to represent him as he desperately tried to dodge reporters outside his Manhattan apartment Wednesday.

Schneiderman, two days after an expose accused him of choking, slapping and verbally denigrating the women, faces investigations from a special prosecutor and the Suffolk County district attorney.

A smirking Schneiderman was seen emerging from his home, simply telling reporters "thank you" when they attempted to question him about the allegations.

Schneiderman, who abruptly resigned late Monday, was instrumental in ravaging the Daily Fantasy Sports industry just two years ago, demanding that two of the biggest players - FanDuel and DraftKings - pay huge fines to the state for misleading advertising.  His actions started a snowballing effect resulting in other state Attorney Generals cracking down on the sector.
