Gentleman bookmaker, Victor Chandler, whose company is estimated to be worth in the neighborhood of £300million, has reportedly fell madly in love with his cousin's wife, Caroline.

The cousin, Peter Beaton-Brown, stepped down from his long time post at Victor Chandler as Victor's right hand man.

Caroline and Peter had recently divorced but Richard Kay of the Daily Mail, who broke the story, reports that Peter is absolutely devastated.

A friend told Kay: ‘Butch has been devastated. He looks as though he has lost about 3st in weight. He is a very nice chap. He felt he obviously couldn't go on working for his cousin in the circumstances. They were previously very close.'

Chandler previously had a long-term relationship with another of his cousins, Carol Masters, who is ten years his senior, but that fizzled out, Kay added.
