Internet Poker Can Be Subjected to Manipulation Says FBI

Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Internet-based poker games can be subject to manipulation, a top Federal Bureau of Investigation official said.

"There are several ways to cheat at online poker, none of which are legal," Shawn Henry, assistant director for the FBI's cyber division, wrote in a letter to Representative Spencer Bachus of Alabama.

Undaunted by his electoral defeat, Gov. Jon S. Corzine will proceed with his plan to join a legal battle to bring sports betting to New Jersey, according to his office.

Gov.: Ky. Needs to Act on Casinos After Ohio Vote

FRANKFORT, Ky. -Associated Press --- Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear said it's time for the state to act on approving expanded gambling now that Ohio voters approved casinos in four cities.

Beshear said Ohio residents will reap the benefits of thousands of new jobs and millions in new tax dollars. He said Kentucky "can't afford to wait any longer" on the issue, claiming it could lead to immediate economic benefits.
