Andy Beshear Odds to Become President at 100-1
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear odds of becoming the Democratic nominee were sitting at 66-1 and 100-1 from 77-1 immediately following last Thursday's debate to become President of the United States. There is increasing pressure for Joe Biden to step aside following what was universally viewed as a poor debate performance.
Beshear is a popular Democratic governor in a reliably red state.
Courier Journal columnist Joe Gerth believes are not as likely to turn to him as Kentucky is not favorable for the party.
Kentucky's Republican Secretary of State Michael Adams mentioned a potential Beshear presidential candidacy a little more than half an hour from the debate's start.
“The Beshear presidential candidacy doesn't sound so crazy now, does it?" Adams said on X.
