Harris Moves to -130, Oddsmaker Believes Republicans Have Lost Michigan
It may not seem like much but Vice President Kamala Harris has moved from -125 to -130 on Tuesday, representing a new high for the presumptive Democratic nominee. It's also a new low for the GOP nominee and former president Donald Trump.
Now Even Fox News is Honing in on Florida
A new poll suggests Trump holds a slim five-point advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris in the battle for Florida's 30 electoral votes. In so-called "battleground" states like Michigan and Wisconsin, this is considered just outside the margin of error.
The survey comes courtesy of USA Today/Suffolk University/WSVN-TV, and polled 500 likely Sunshine State voters.
Trump won Florida by 3.3 points over President Biden, which represented the biggest winning margin in the state in a presidential contest in 16 years.
BetOnline offers "battleground state" election odds, just not Florida...yet.
Verdict Still Out on Trump-Musk Interview
An interview on X Space Monday night may not have helped Trump, at least not according to some early reviews.
The Mirror noted: "Many took to X to share their confusion over Donald Trump's apparent lisp and slurred speech - speculating he may have had denture work or suffered a health issue."
Maybe.
Trump re-activated his Twitter account on Tuesday. The now Musk-owned social media platform was widely credited with helping him win in 2016 and remained a critical sounding board throughout his presidency.
Slipping Away?
A former aide for Trump says his one time boss believes the "election is slipping away".
“I think that he feels this election slipping away from him, and that’s where you’re beginning to see him spiral and cling to these conspiracy theories, as you noted with the AI-generated crowds, which obviously can be easily disproven,” former spokesperson Sarah Matthews said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki.
Swing State Odds
Michigan already seems like it may be out of reach for Republicans as the Democrats move above the -200 mark as we inch closer to the November.
BetOnline probably has taken more U.S. election bets than any other site on the Net currently so their numbers shouldn't be too far off from public sentiment.
