Vice President Kamala Harris got some great news Wednesday evening when her odds moved to the shortest price yet, +250.

That good news comes with some bad news for President Joe Biden as he learned of a Covid diagnosis and will need to go into isolation for the next few days.  Biden's odds dropped to their peak worse of 7-1 on the news.

Additional reports surfaced Wednesday evening that Biden may be more open to getting out of the race.  This comes after a new AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll shows that over two-thirds of Democrats want him to get out.

Former President and current GOP nominee Donald Trump was not left unscathed Wednesday as his odds took a slight hit, down to -275 from a high of -300.

Odds are available on Trump's Thursday night speech as he is formally nominated by Republicans to be the next President of the United States.

Despite Harris much shorter odds at BetOnline, analytics company BlueLabs carried out research that showed which potential Democratic candidate would win critical swing states, including Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. It interviewed more than 15,000 voters across the states from July 5-12.

The results, published in a draft by Politico on Tuesday, showed all of the alternative candidates ahead of Biden, including Harris. That is some good news for Harris and more bad news for Biden.  But it's not all good for the Vice President. The four who performed best, outpacing Biden by roughly 5 points, were U.S. Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, not Kamala Harris.
