Trump Odds to Win Nevada at -210 as Ralston Questions Washoe Backlog
If you're betting on the 2024 general election outcome in Nevada, don't do so until you bookmark and follow Jon Ralston's blog. It's really good stuff and educational.
BetOnline currently has this hotly contested swing state odds at Donald Trump -210.
Thus far at least, Republicans own a 4.8 percent lead as of Thursday morning, according to Ralston. That's been cut down however.
And there is more...
Ralston was questioning a backlog with the 7911 ballots received, but not accepted, in Washoe County.
Washoe County is Nevada's second-most populous county. Its county seat is Reno.

Here is Ralston's update from Thursday morning:
But GOP still looking stronger than ever at this point in an election, with substantial ballot lead. The great unknowns are the same: Can the state get mail get above 500,000 -- it's at 300,000 right now in Clark and it was 457,000 in Clark in 2020-- as it did in 2022, which was an off-year? (Note: Corrected this from earlier. Need more coffee.) Total mail in 2020 was 690K. And how are indies breaking -- Dems seem to think they will break their way, which they will need to make it close. Mail is getting younger, which may signify a shift, but polling aside, the indies are a bit of a black box.
Do keep in mind Ralston's been doing this for 30 plus years. Your favorite Twitter trolls "expertise" may just be a few weeks old.
