Tatjana Pasalic Talks Durrrr Challenge: Tom Dwan Says Delay Likely

A lot of hype has surrounded the so-called Durrrr Challenge, a high stakes series of online poker games originated by Tom Durrrr Dwan.  Our friend Tatjana Pasalic was talking about it with Dwan at this week’s PartyPoker World Open 6 where the young New Jersey native busted out pretty early.  Because of the Open, not much action has taken place these last couple of days with the challenge.

Dwan explains:  “I laid 3/1 on a side bet of $1.5 million to $500K as long as we played 50,000 hands of 200 to 400 or higher no limit.”

Durrrr Challenge Like a Good Movie Sequel… And Sex The Second Time

The second installment of the Durrrr Challengegot underway this past week.  It’s an online poker challenge made by player phenom Tom Durrrr Dwan.  While a lot of people in the poker community still discuss the Durrrr Challenge, it hasn’t exactly lived up to the original hype.  A matter of fact, the Durrrr Challenge has become a bit of a yawner as opposed to a nail biter.

That may change with the second installment.

Proof of Age Please, Online Poker Player URnotINdanger2

Fortunes are won and lost with the turn of a single card, dreams built and die moment by moment as faceless adversaries wage psychological warfare on one another for hours on end. This mystical place lives and breaths in the virtual world that is online poker. It takes a special breed to be successful in a place where the anonymity involved adds to the mystique, legend and chaos that resides on every online poker site out there. Doyle Brunson Does Texas

I just got back from Texas again. It’s like stepping into another world when I get there. The economy is thriving and the people are optimistic, quite a far cry from the doom and gloom you hear around Vegas. The oil wells, wind farms, dairy farms, cattle ranches and cotton and peanut farms seem to make the residents of West Texas have plenty of money. that translates into successful restaurants, shops, banks, etc. We tend to live in our own small part of the world and we just forget just how big our planet is.
