Zooey Zephyr Odds for White House Visit and Bar Lift
Montana transgender lawmaker Zooey Zephyr was barred from the House floor by state Republicans yesterday, and now there are odds on when the bar will be lifted.
Entertainment company and gaming website BetOnline.ag has created prop bets for Zephyr seeing the floor again before May 6, as well as whether or not she'll get an invite from the White House.
Neither outcome is favored to happen. According to the odds, the probability of the ban being lifted during this session is just 28.6% while the chances of Zephyr visiting the White House are a bit better at 41.7%.

From NPR:
The formal punishment decided Wednesday bans Zephyr from attending or speaking during floor sessions. She will only be allowed to vote remotely in the remaining days of the legislative session. It's a lesser punishment than expulsion, which was also on the table, according to House leadership.
"I have fielded calls from families in Montana, including one family whose trans teenager attempted to take her life while watching a hearing on one of the anti-trans bills," Zephyr said during the debate Wednesday. "So, when I rose up and said 'there is blood on your hands,' I was not being hyperbolic," she said.
