Chloe Kim [USA] is the odds on favorite in this event at -250.

At the 2018 Winter Olympics, she became the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal when she won gold in the women's snowboard halfpipe at 17 years old and was named among Time Magazine's Most Influential People.

She is also a six-time X Games gold medalist and the first woman to win two gold medals in snowboarding at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Kim is the World, Olympic, Youth Olympic, and X Games champion in the halfpipe and the first to win the title at all four major events.

Halfpipe Snowboarding gets its name from the structure of the track, resembling a cross-section of a swimming pool, essentially two concave ramps (or quarter-pipes), topped by copings and decks, facing each other across a flat transition, also known as a tranny.
