Roger Federer Speaks Out Regarding Gambling Scandal
Roger Federer is now talking in regard to a gambling scandal that threatened to rock the world of tennis.
Federer said on Tuesday that he had requested a detailed explanation from Ted Forstmann, the head of his management company IMG, after a lawsuit was filed claiming Forstmann had increased a bet on the 2007 French Open based on information provided to him by Federer.
Online Gambling Up Among College Age Men
A recent survey has found that college age men are gambling more than ever before online.
The survey was conducted by the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania and it revealed that 16 percent of college age males gambled online in 2010 compared to 4.4 percent in 2008.
400,000 males in college ranging from age 18 to 22 gambled at least once a week on the Internet, and there were over 1.7 million who gambled at least once a month.

The firm representing Ted Forstmann has advised Gambling911.com that he does not act as an agent for either Tiger Woods or Roger Federer.
Previous reports have pointed out that Forstmann is named in a lawsuit that alleges improprieties stemming from “insider gambling tips” provided be Federer. Forstmann had been characterized as “an agent to both sports figures” in the press.
