Asia World Cup Gambling Crackdown Continues

The crackdown in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand arrested on more than 5000 people in Asia as a world cup operation against illegal gambling, where it seized more than $10 million. The Interpol reported that the police in those countries identified and raided nearly 800 illegal gambling dens. 

Moreover, during the operation Soga III, this ran from 11 June to 11 July at the same time of World Cup 2010, the Interpol said that the police seized with them on assets including cars, fake banks cards, computers stolen and cell phones stolen.
