Over the past five years, more than a dozen online poker rooms that allowed Americans to play Internet poker for cash have been busted by the U.S. Justice Department. Websites were shut down, website owners and operators were arrested and millions of dollars were seized. Party Poker, Poker Stars, Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet were among the sites targeted by the Feds.

So how does a San Francisco man get away with operating an online poker room from a non-descript office building in the City by the Bay? And what do the Feds have to say about it? And what do McDonald's hamburgers--of all things--have to do with the questionable legality of this site?

Tom Somach reports in a front page story in this coming Sunday's San Francisco Examiner about this seemingly-rogue poker room, and what the Feds are--and are not--doing about it. Has the room found a legal loophole big enough to drive a Mack truck through? Or are the G-Men at Justice ready to flatten their tires? Read all about it on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at www.sfexaminer.com and learn about online poker's Dirty Little Secret.
