Rays vs. Mariners Series Starting Pitchers, Betting Pick, DFS Strategies – June 6-7
Gambling911.com has your Rays vs. Mariners series starting pitchers, betting pick and DFS strategies for June 6 through 7.
Team Head-to-Head Synopsis:
The away team oddly enough had won 9 of the last 10 games in this series coming into Saturday. Six of the last seven games in the series stayed UNDER 5.5. The last four games played in Seattle have also stayed UNDER this number.
Saturday
Alex Colome (Tampa Bay) - Colome gave up five runs on nine hits over six innings including three home runs, while striking out five and walking three in a loss to the Angels on Monday. He lost in his previous outing as well. Seattle has not had more than three runs in their last 10 games so this one offers an opportunity for Colome to get back on track. In five of eight games, Colome has not allowed more than 3 runs to be scored
Felix Herndandez (Seattle) - Hernandez failed to make it out of the fifth inning Monday, allowing seven runs on six hits and a season-high five walks in 4.2 innings against the Yankees. Otherwise he has been outstanding this season, going 8-2. Expect him to rebound Saturday.
We are all over the UNDER 6.5 here.
Sunday
Chris Archer (Tampa Bay) - Archer lit up the Angels on Tuesday, throwing 8.0 innings of one-run ball and registering a career-high 15 strikeouts. He has only permitted two runs in four games, making it through the 8th in his last two starts. Archer actually makes for a good play on the Daily Fantasy pitcher front.
Kyle Seager, who has hit in his last 8 games prior to Saturday, has gone 0-for-10 against Archer so he is a definite AVOID on this day.
Robinson Cano? He’s 0-for-13 against Archer.
Mike Montgomery (Seattle) – He failed to win in his debut start the other night against the Yankees but only registered a single run in six innings.
The total will likely come in around 7 but the UNDER is definitely something to consider even at 6.5.
