Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings Odds

Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings odds opened at Vikings -6.  There has only been a half point line move to -5 ½ at BetED.com this week (note to readers, BetED.com is still giving away up to $250 in free cash to new signups – see site for details).  The Vikings were still getting over 70 percent of the action in this game.  This matchup was not getting a significant amount of volume, however, compared to other games.

Green Bay Packers Now Runaway Favorites to Win NFC North

What a difference a week makes.  The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings were in a deadlock as favorites to win the 2010 NFC North coming into this season.  Following a road loss to the reigning Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, the Vikings are now listed with nearly 3/1 odds of winning the NFC North.  The Packers now require $19 to win $10 at BetUS.com (the $19 is refunded should Green Bay win the NFC North).

Mayweather – Pacquiao Fight Bets Likely to be Refunded Soon

Following news of Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s arrest on domestic assault this week, it is almost a guarantee that there will not be a Mayweather – Pacquiao fight before year’s end.  Still, North America’s oldest established online sportsbook, Bookmaker.com, was offering odds on Mayweather – Pacquiao, with Manny Pacquiao the +115 underdog.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Odds

The Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals odds opened at Bengals +1 but have moved to +2 ½ heading into Friday.  Sports bettors appear to have lost faith in the Bengals following their poor performance in New England this past Sunday.  Indeed the Ravens were practically getting 80 percent of the action in this game.

The New York Jets went 1 of 11 on third down and only spent 21:28 on the field Monday night thanks to the Baltimore Ravens defense.

Nebraska vs. Washington Week 3 College Football Odds

Nebraska vs. Washington Week 3 College Football odds opened at Washington as the +4 1/2 home underdog.  The Cornhuskers were getting more action than any single College Football team this week:  95 percent in fact.  Why is the line moving down in favor of Nebraska then?

Nebraska comes into this game 2-0 while Washington is 1-1.

Cincinnati – North Carolina State Game Line Still -2 ½

BetUS.com has maintained a line of -2 ½ favoring North Carolina State in a closely contested game against the Cincinnati Bearcats Thursday evening despite most books moving to -2.  Betting action on this game was at 75 percent favoring NC State and obviously the folks at BetUS were attempting to get more action coming Cincinnati’s way.

The Bearcats come into this game with a 1-1 record while North Carolina State is 2-0.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns Odds

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns odds opened at Browns -2 1/2.  The line has since moved down to -2 at BetUS.com (see website here)  Under normal circumstances Gambling911.com might not even review this game but following the Chiefs shock win over the heavily favored San Diego Chargers this past Monday night, this game is one we will be monitoring closely.

Buffalo Bills vs. Green Bay Packers Odds

Buffalo Bills vs. Green Bay Packers odds opened at Packers -13 ½.  BetUS.com was one of the only online sportsbooks offering a line of -12 ½ for this game.  Just shy of 90 percent of the betting public was backing the Packers so Gambling911.com anticipates the odds moving in favor of Buffalo at BetUS.com shortly.  In fact, a review of the line movements at BetUS.com shows that they only began offering the -12 ½ odds early Thursday morning.
