Deadbeat: Jayson Werth Booted From Nationals Team Fantasy Football League

He’s in his fourth year of a seven-year $126 million deal, but Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth apparently couldn’t pay his Fantasy Football league dues on time.   As a result, it was revealed this past week that Werth was not invited back to take part in the league.

League commissioner and Nationals reliever Craig Stammen exposed Werth during an appearance on 106.7 The Fan’s Grant Paulsen and Danny Rouhier this past Thursday.

NFL Player on Peterson Charges: ‘I’m Probably Going to Lose My Fantasy Matchup’

Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White has come under fire for a tweet he posted in reaction to Vikings star Adrian Peterson being indicted Friday for child endangerment.

The now-removed tweet read: "I'm probably going to lose my fantasy football matchup this week cause [Peterson] can't play Sunday for disciplining his child Jesus help us."

White later apologized.

Patriots vs. Vikings Line Up 2 Points: Adrian Peterson Indicted, Fantasy Disaster

The Patriots vs. Vikings betting was under review following news that Adrian Peterson was indicted for child abuse in Montgomery, Texas.  TMZ.com reported the news late Friday. Minnesota was a +3.5 home underdog prior to the news and at 8 pm EST, BetOnline moved the line up 2 points in favor of New England to -5.5.   The team deactivated Peterson late Friday.
