Online Poker Measure Could be Tacked Onto Jobs Bill

Industry observers are watching to see if members of Congress will seek to attach a bill legalizing online poker to US President Barack Obama’s jobs creation bill.

Supporters of i-Gaming legislation, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, believe that the legalization of online poker will help to stimulate job growth and bring billions of dollars to federal coffers.  Opponents to similar proposed legislation in the past such as Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl also have expressed support for regulation in recent months.
