Ukraine WSOP Winner Meant No Disrespect With Anthem

Ukraine World Series of Poker winner Arkadiy Tsinis said he meant no disrespect having the Ukrainian National Anthem played following his win, as opposed to the American Anthem. 

The 34-year-old Tsinis, who has lived in Las Veags for 18 years, said he was protesting the US Government’s crackdown on Internet gambling.  Three online poker rooms were indicted on April 15 while two others had their domains seized one month later.

The much anticipated Patrik Antonius vs. Brandon Adams tennis match took place this week with a $300,000 bet.

Meanwhile the online poker company Antonius represents is yet to pay US players in the millions.  The majority of Full Tilt Poker players living in the States are unable to attend this year’s World Series of Poker while their money is being held in limbo by Full Tilt Poker. 

Quadjacks.com host Agent Marco expressed outrage over the event.

There is Something Rotten About Phil Ivey Lawsuit

Hamlet once lamented that, "There's something rotten in Denmark."

He could have just as easily been talking about present-day Las Vegas.

The revelation this week that poker pro Phil "Poison" Ivey has filed a lawsuit in Vegas against online poker room Full Tilt Poker--and the early response to it from Full Tilt--raise a number of issues and some of them don't quite smell right.
