The US-facing online poker site today announced that it's guaranteeing 50 World Series of Poker packages worth $12,500 apiece through online qualifiers, and players can win one for as little as a penny.

EPT6 Barcelona finalist Georgios Kapalas was the chip leader going in to Day 4 of the €5,300 EPT Deauville Main Event and remained among the 16 players still in Thursday evening. Joseph Carlino led during the early evening hours.
He was closely followed by EPT Berlin champion Kevin MacPhee, who won in Germany in 2006, has already had a runner-up finish this season, when he was second to Sebastian Pauli in London. Campaign for Liberty Strongly Opposes Online Gambling Ban
SPRINGFIELD, Virginia- Today, Campaign for Liberty issued the following statement from C4L President John Tate strongly opposing the reintroduction of the “Restoration of America’s Wire Act” (RAWA) by Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT). This legislation would institute a federal ban on online gambling and trample on the United States Constitution, which leaves the states with the authority to regulate matters not specifically given to the federal government.
Bill to Outlaw Online Gambling in US Resurfaces in Congress
A bill to prohibit online gambling in the United States has resurfaced in Congress this week. The legislation, reintroduced by Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) is heavily backed by GOP megadonor and casino mogul Sheldon Adelson.

The 2015 World Series of Poker schedule has been released with a Wednesday, May 27, 2015 starting date, ending with the main event that kicks off July 5. Ivan Luca Leads for Final Day of FPS Deauville 2015
Argentina's Ivan "Negriin" Luca leads the final 22 going in to the final day of the €1,100 FPS Deauville Main Event. The LAPT Punte del Este finalist is on an extended international poker tour after winning packages for EPT Prague and the PCA.
In Prague, he had two great cashes - runner-up in the €500 NL Deepstack Turbo for €12,000 and third in the €4k NL Deepstack 4x4 for €33,900. In January, he headed to the Bahamas (after winning a total of four packages!) where he had another great result: 33rd in the $25k High Roller for $44,540.
