POKERSTARS GUARANTEES $7 MILLION PRIZE POOL FOR SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY MILLION
PokerStars is celebrating the seventh anniversary of the Sunday Million – poker’s richest weekly tournament – with a special event featuring a $7 million guaranteed prize pool on March 3 at 14.30 ET. With $1 million guaranteed for first place it is set to be one of the richest online poker tournaments of all time.

Poker Maximus IV – Day 7 Recap
Carbon Poker’s Poker Maximus IV tournament series continued on through Wednesday as three more very good poker players finished the day with a tournament title in hands and big pay days in their pockets. The first live qualifiers for the Bodog Poker Network’s Anonymous Poker Series will take place simultaneously in both London and Macau on March 12th. The B2B live event will be held during the iGaming Asia Conference, Macau, and is open to online gaming operators at the conference.

Poker Maximus IV – Day 3 Recap
PM IV’s first Saturday of action at Carbon Poker was chalk-filled with action as there were four new winners crowned and they toke home over $17K in 1st place prize money. Remi Castaignon Leads at Final of 2013 EPT Deauville
French player Remi Castaignon, 29, has a massive chip lead going into the final of EPT Deauville with 9,900,000, more than 40% of the chips in play. Three Lebanese players have also made the final and now account for 37.5% of the field, from the 1.92% who started the event. Lebanon is the current EPT Country of the Year.
Cyril Andre Leads Final 23 at EPT Deauville 2013
French pro Cyril Andre is chip leader going into Day 5 of the €5,300 EPT Deauville Main Event with 2,108,000.
The 25-year-old from Toulouse - known as "Don Limit" online - has been playing poker for around five years and is considered one of the best online cash game players in France. His best live result to date was seventh in the Partouche Main Event in 2010 for €187,500.
Among those who will also be returning for Day 5 tomorrow are James Mitchell, Gordon Huntly, Aurelien Guiglini, Jeffrey Hakim, Glen Cymbaluk and serial PokerStars qualifier Yury Gulyy.
Shahaf Hadaya Leads EPT Deauville 2013 After Day 4
Israeli player Shahaf Hadaya is leading EPT Deauville with 1,237,000. There are 51 players still in contention for the €770,000 first prize.
Among those who will be returning for Day 4 tomorrow are former Deauville champion Lucien Cohen and EPT Prague winner Salvatore Bonavena as well as Sam Grafton, James Mitchell, Gordon Huntly, Aurelien Guiglini, Mathew Frankland, Jason Koon, Kristijonas Andrulis, Alexander Dovzhenko, Michel Abecassis and PCA finalist Ionel Anton.

Romanian PokerStars qualifier Andrei Stoenescu is chip leader going into Day 3 of EPT Deauville. The 24-year-old high stakes cash game pro from Bucharest, who came third at EPT Madrid last March, has 485,600.
There are 154 players left in contention for the €770,000 first prize, with 120 getting paid. They include Team PokerStars Pros Vanessa Rousso, celebrating her 30th birthday today, Matthias De Meulder and EPT Dortmund champion Sandra Naujoks. The €5,300 event attracted 782 players, creating a €3,753,600 prize pool.
Ladbrokes Online Poker Goes Social
UK based Ladbrokes Poker just wants to be liked. €770k for 1st Place at EPT9 Deauville: David Ostrom Leads
David Ostrom is chip leader going into Day 2 of EPT Deauville, with 419 players left. The 33-year-old Swedish PokerStars qualifier from Hultsfred has 212,600 chips, just ahead of EPT veteran Casey Kastle who has 204,500.
The eventual winner of this season's Deauville Main Event will be taking home a whopping €770,000 first prize - with 119 others also getting a share of the €3,753,600 prize pool. 782 players entered the €5,300 event which started on Sunday.

The €5,300 EPT Deauville Main Event has kicked off at Casino Barriere attracted 307 players for Day 1a today.
This season, for the first time, the EPT has joined forces with the national France Poker Series to create a mega ten-day, 48-event festival in Deauville, making it one of the biggest events ever held in France.

PokerStars Turbo Championship of Online Poker 2013 Sets Records
LONDON, UK –PokerStars player ‘frma1103’ from Sweden became the latest Turbo Championship of Online Poker Main Event champion on Sunday night winning $326,880. He topped a record field of 5,060 players in the $700 buy-in event to scoop the life-changing amount, while six other players at the final table also earned six-figure sums as part of a seven-way deal.

Mike Matusow beat Phil Hellmuth in the highly anticipated NBC Heads-Up Poker Championship, taking in $750k.
The National Heads Up Championship returned to the Caesars Palace Las Vegas for the period January 24-26, 2013 following a year-long hiatus. This event will be broadcast on NBC.

After five intense poker action days, the Estrellas Madrid finished with Spanish player Adrián Mateos Díaz as the winner of the event. Rafa Nadal Wins First Poker Tournament
There are some people who simply have winning in their blood. Tennis legend Rafa Nadal is one of those people, and he proved it again Wednesday as he won his very first PokerStars tournament.
Nadal beat out 47 other players in a €10 freeze-out tourney on PokerStars.es. It took him just a little more than two hours to beat the field for a €152.40 first prize.
