Americas Cardroom's Online Super Series is living up to its name—and then some. Since launching on Sunday, every event in the 2-week online poker tournament series has seen its guaranteed prize pool super-sized. Over the course of three days, Americas Cardroom has handed out $306,085, eclipsing the original $222,500 that was guaranteed by $83,585.
Dimitar Danchev Wins $1,859,000 at 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure
EPT Sanremo runner-up Dimitar Danchev has become the first Bulgarian to win a major poker tournament after taking down the 2013 PCA Main Event for $1,859,000.
The 26-year-old, who was already top of the Bulgarian all-time money list, won his seat to the $10,000 event in a $700 qualifier on PokerStars. He has been playing poker professionally for around three years but first came to prominence when he was runner-up at the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Sanremo tournament in 2011, where he earned €600,000.
Day 1 of $1 Million Guaranteed Americas Cardroom’s OSS II Sees Over $236,000 Paid Out
San Jose, Costa Rica – January 14, 2013 – If Day 1 of Americas Cardroom’s OSS II series is any indication, the $1 million Guaranteed online poker series will see its total prize pool surpass the $1 million prize mark well before the 2-week series has wrapped. On Sunday, the first day of the online poker tournament series, a total of $236,850 in prize money was paid out through seven online poker events. The number eclipsed the $205,000 in money that had been guaranteed.

PokerStars qualifier Nicolas Godoy from Corrientes, Argentina, is leading the PCA10 Main Event with 166 players left. The 19-year-old from Corrientes won his seat in the PCA Tenth Anniversary promotion for just $10. He was fast asleep when a friend rang and said he was coming over to play the satellite but it was Godoy who won the $16,000 package. He is here in the Bahamas with his uncle and aunt. In March he starts college studying Business Administration.

Philipp Gruissem Leads Record-Breaking PCA10 $100k Super High Roller
A total of 47 total players bought in to today's PCA Super High Roller making it the largest ever turn-out for a $100k tournament. The current chip leader - with 771,500 - is EPT London High Roller winner Philipp Gruissem who was one of ten players to re-enter today. Three players (businessman Paul Newey, Bryn Kenney and Igor Kurganov) bust twice and, so far, have not entered a third time. A total of 37 players are left at present. Players have until the first hand tomorrow to decide if they want to re-enter. The seat draw will be published at noon.

EPT9 Prague Main Event Down to Two
The EPT9 Prague final was down to two players, Ramzi Jelassi of Sweden and Greek poker player Sotirious Koutoupas.
PokerStars Stephen Bartley noted that Jelassi was in complete control on Saturday with Koutoupas still capable of a comeback.
He writes:
It's not over yet, and Koutoupas has the chips and the support to pose a real threat. But you also sense that Jelassi is back in control, something that is not as easy to say for Koutoupas. It's now Jelassi's event to win.
EPT Prague 2013 Final Table Determined
The EPT Prague 2013 final table has been determined with Aleh Plauski of Belarus leading the pack. Plauski is best known for finishing 6th at the PokerStars EPT Monte Carlo in April of 2010 where he walked away with $430,354.
Ben Warrington Leads After Day 5 of EPT Prague with 21 Players Remaining
Britain's Ben Warrington is leading EPT Prague with 21 players left. He has 2,618,000 closely followed by last season's runner-up, the Dutch banker David Boyaciyan and last night's chip leader Ramzi Jelassi from Sweden. Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden and EPT7 Prague champion Roberto Romanello are also still in contention for the €835,000 first prize.

Menikos Panagiotou Wins Eureka Season 2 finale in Prague
Player Menikos Panagiotou from Cyprus has won Eureka Prague, the final event of the second Season of the Eureka Poker Tour. He won €137,100 prize after beating a record field of 651 other players at the Hilton Prague Hotel in the Czech capital, December 5-9, 2012.
Iosif Beskrovnyy Leads EPT Prague 2012 at End of Day 2
Russian player Iosif Beskrovnyy is still leading EPT Prague with 161 players left. He has a whopping 625,200.
This season's EPT Prague is the richest poker tournament ever held in the Czech Republic. A total of 864 players from 63 countries entered, creating a total prize pool of €4,190,400. The winner will get €835,000 with 128 places being paid. The huge field is 142 more than last season's EPT.
Americas Card Room Presents the Online Super Series II With $1 Million Guaranteed

Marcin Wydrowski Wins WPT Prague 2012: Rodrigo Caprioli Lifetime Achievement Award
Poland’s Marcin Wydrowski has won the WPT Prague 2012 Main Event and the €325,000 cash prize that came with it.
This was only Wydrowski’s second cashout in live tournament play.
Also taking place in Prague is the EPT Prague 2012, which concluded Day 1 on Monday with 315 out of a record 864 taking part.
On Tuesday, 31-year-old Brazilian Rodrigo Caprioli, accepted a lifetime achievement award on the stage at EPT Prague in recognition of reaching five million VIP Player Points at PokerStars.
