Paris Hilton Sex Tape Star Rick Salomon in Big One For One Drop Poker Event
Some of you might remember Rick Salomon as the other individual who appeared along side socialite and heir to the Hilton Hotel fortune Paris Hilton in a “leaked” sex tape. Salomon was also romantically linked (married for 80 days) to “Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson, for whom Gambling911.com revealed last week now has her own online poker room – BamPoker.com. There is a certain irony in Salomon participating in a poker event called “The Big One”. We won’t go there though.
Big One for One Drop 2012 Odds to Win
Surprisingly it has been especially difficult to find WSOP Big One for One Drop 2012 odds to win at any of the online bookmakers. WSOP Updates: Kenny Hsiung, Greg Hobson Win Bracelets
The latest World Series of Poker winners, Kenny Hsiung and Greg Hobson, have each achieved their first WSOP bracelets.
Kenny Hsiung won Event #48: Limit Hold’em and the $165,205 that came with it. Jonathan Duhamel and Justin Bonomo were among the notables that finished within the top 20.
Michael Mizrachi Wins The Poker Players Championship at WSOP 2012
Michael Mizrachi has won the 2012 WSOP: The Poker Players Championship and the $1,451,527 that came with it. For Mizrachi, this is his 3rd bracelet in three years.
Mizrachi defeated Chris Klodnicki Thursday night. Andy Bloch finished in 3rd place.
The Poker Players Championship 2012 Down to 3
The Poker Players Championship 2012 was down to just three players after 5 pm PST including Michael Mizrachi, Andy Bloch and Chris Klodnicki.
These three individuals have won over $19.2 million between them and stand to win another $2 million and some change total when all is said and done.
1st place gets $1,451,527, 2nd gets $896,935, 3rd gets $561,738.
WSOP The Poker Players Championship: Viktor Blom Just Barely All-In
After leading with chips heading into Wednesday’s WSOP The Poker Players Championship, online poker phenom Viktor “Isildur1” Blom was clinging to life just before the dinner break with just 14 players left.
The good news for Blom is that he’s guaranteed at least $105,235, as are the remaining players.

Phil Hellmuth, looking for his 13th record World Series of Poker bracelet, can’t be feeling too confident entering today’s Poker Players Championship.
Out of 26 players, he is number 26 in the chip count.
Hellmuth tweeted soon after the event ended for the day Tuesday:
I'm in my car in the Rio parking lot crying. Blessings all around me, BUT all I can see right now is that "I deserved better today..."
The Poker Players Championship 2012: Andy Bloch, Michael Mizrachi on Top
The Poker Players Championship 2012 WSOP event was down to 37 players at press time with noted pros Andy Bloch and Michael Mizrachi leading the pack.
Other notable names among the remaining 37 were Phil Hellmuth (16th among the chip leaders) and Phil Ivey (30th out of 36).
Winner takes home over $1.4 million. 16 players will cash out at a minimum of $91,549.
The defending champion Brian Rast was all in preflop and up against Ben Yu before he found himself eliminated in 38th place.

Shoe Me The Money: Poker Pro Beth Shak Sued by Ex Over Massive Shoe Collection
Professional poker player Beth Shak is known around town affectionately as “the lady with a thousand shoes”. Now she risks losing a portion of her footwear collection after ex-hubby Daniel Shak filed a lawsuit asking the court for 35 percent of Beth’s 1200 pairs of shoes.
Daniel, a 52-year-old wealthy hedge fund manager, claims Beth kept her shoe collection hidden from him during their divorce settlement three years ago.
Ukraine Novice Poker Player Oleksii Kovalchuk Wins WSOP Bracelet
Ukraine- based poker player Oleksii Kovalchuk has won the World Series of Poker Omaha - Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8 or Better event.
Amazingly, Kovalchuk has only recently learned how to play the game, honing his skills while participating in champion league tournaments.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Ronnie Bardah latest WSOP Bracelet Winners
The latest World Series of Poker results have Jan-Peter Jactmann winning a bracelet and $661,000 at Event #39: Pot Limit Hold’em while Ronnie Bardah won a bracelet and $188,022 in Event #40: Limit Hold’em Six-Handed.
Germany’s Jachtmann has just over $1 million in live winnings following this weekend’s victory. This is his first bracelet, 3rd tournament win and 29th cash.
WSOP Results: David Baker, Dung Nguyen Win Bracelets
Two more WSOP bracelets were handed out overnight Friday, one to David Baker and another to Dung Nguyen.
For both men, it was their first World Series of Poker bracelets.
Baker won the Eight Game Mix and pocketed $271,312. He now has just shy of $2.7 million in live winnings to date, having cashed out in 83 events.

Craig McCorkell won the most recent championship event, played at the 2012 World Series of Poker. He overcame a strong field of 587 players en route to his first major tournament victory, which took place in the No-Limit Hold'em Shootout (Event #36).
Antonio Esfandiari Looking for Second WSOP Bracelet
Poker pro Antonio Esfandiari was in search for his second World Series of Poker bracelet at the No-Limit Hold'em Shootout (2,000 player max) event Thursday night.
Only four players remained at press time.
Esfandiari has cashed out 39 times over his career with 4 first place finishes. He has accumulated over $4.2 million in live poker earnings over his playing career.
Chris Tryba Wins Mixed Hold’em Event at 2012 World Series of Poker
Chris Tryba has won the Mixed Hold’em event at the 2012 WSOP.
Tryba defeated a man who already has a gold bracelet to his credit, Erik Cajelais, with a straight flush. The event came to an abrupt halt when Cajelais shoved all-in on the river holding the nut straight only to have Tryba give a smile and a nod before calling, screaming out to his fans on the rail, "Straight flush, baby!"

Much was made this week about the news that Allyn Shulman, wife of Card Player magazine owner Barry Shulman, had won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) championship gold bracelet.
It wasn't that the win, in WSOP Event #29, a no-limit Texas hold 'em seniors tournament open to those age 50 and over, was that spectacular--it wasn't.

Timothy Adams and Larry Wright have won their first World Series of Poker bracelets in separate events while well known poker pro Michael Mizrachi just missed his shot.
Adams won the No Limit Hold’em / Four Handed Event while Adams captured the bracelet in Event 30 of the 2-7 Draw Lowball (No Limit).
Brian Meinders, Austin Scott Latest WSOP Bracelet Winners
Brian Meinders and Austin Scott both captured their first World Series of Poker bracelets in separate events.
Meinders won the Event #25: Limit Hold’em Shootout, which paid out $116,118 for first place.

Belgium’s own, Michael Gathy, has won the 2012 World Series of Poker Event #21: No-Limit Hold’em along with the $440,829 grand prize.
Gathy managed to beat out 2798 other players to win his first ever WSOP bracelet.
Poker Pro Adam Friedman Denies Being Crybaby at 2005 WSOP…OH REALLY (Video)
Real men don’t cry….they just get a little emotional. Just ask poker pro Adam Friedman.
He tells Quadjacks.com that there were no tears at the 2005 World Series of Poker following his deep run and brutal bust out.
“I was 23 back then, fairly emotional. I didn’t know how to keep my emotions in check,” he told Quadjacks. “I will say this officially, I never cried on TV.”

Phil Hellmuth Paid Out 4 to 1 Odds With 12th Bracelet Win (Video)
Gambling911.com’s own Thomas Somach noted that a number of online bookmakers were offering betting odds on Phil Hellmuth winning another bracelet at this year’s World Series of Poker.
That happened late Sunday night, with the self-proclaimed “Poker Brat” breaking his own record with a 12th bracelet. Those betting Hellmuth received $400 for every $100 wagered.
If there’s anything Hellmuth is not, it’s modest.
That said, the “Poker Brat” insisted he’s still the same man he was prior to winning number 12.
